How to understand my tax report's jurisdiction codes

Within your event's tax report, there will be a jurisdiction column included that displays a tax code representing your tax jurisdiction. These codes are uniquely generated from Avalara and are useful for businesses that may reside in multiple local and special tax jurisdictions.

• Note: Jurisdiction codes will only apply to marketplace states
• Canadian events display differently and show a "by type" column which displays the tax line item being included in the transaction
• Non-marketplace states will not display the jurisdiction column in the tax report
