Managing your RegShield Protection Policy

What is RegShield? 

RegShield is an industry-leading insurance technology company who will, for a small fee as a percentage of your ticket order, reimburse you for the entire amount paid, aside from the cost of the policy, if you are unable to attend the event for a reason within the protection policy's coverage guidelines. 

How can I purchase a RegShield protection policy? 

If the event you are registering for is offering participants the option of a RegShield protection policy, this item will appear as an additional step during  the online registration process as outlined below. You are then able to purchase the policy, or decline protection before you are able to proceed. 

What is covered by your RegShield policy? 

Standard Policy covers many of the perils that can keep someone from attending an event. From accidents and severe weather to family emergencies and the common cold, TicketGuardian has you covered. As with any type of insurance, our Standard coverage requires documentation when a claim is filed. However, TicketGuardian makes the claims process as simple as possible. They give those who have filed a claim the ability to quickly and conveniently upload their documentation.

How can I submit a claim through RegShield? 

Once you have purchased the RegShield policy alongside your registration you should have received a confirmation email of this, sent from RegShield containing your policy details as well as a link to "File a claim". 

What should I do if I can't locate my protection policy details? 

If you are missing your policy's details you can reach out to us at support@raceroster.com with the name of the event you registered for, and the name of the individual(s) who you are wanting the policy details of.

When filing a claim the system is telling me my details are invalid or the policy is voided, how should I proceed? 

Please first locate the following details

• Registration receipt or ID
• RegShield policy ID, if found on Race Roster transaction.
• Email
• First & Last Name

and submit your claim related question, via the online claims form or email the RegShield team at help@fanshield.com

Can I purchase a protection Policy after already completing my registration? 

Unfortunately, the RegShield protection policy is only available for purchase during the registration process and is not eligible to be added after the registration has been completed.
