- From your Race Roster dashboard navigate to the top right corner to view as an Event Organizer and verify that you have the correct event in the white bar (step by step instructions for dashboard sign in can be found here)
- On the left-hand side of your screen, you will see a menu of options for editing your event, click 'Settings' > Discounts and select the option for 'Promo Codes'
*Please note if you do not have Promo Codes enabled, go to Settings Overview, scroll to the Available Features section where you find the Promo Codes image and click add to enable. - Click on the green button marked Add Promo Code
- Fill out the code you would like to create in the fields provided
- Under 'New Promo Code' leave the auto-generated code or create a code of your own
- Note: Promo codes cannot have spaces or symbols such as "!" or "-"
- Under NOTE feel free to add any details about the code you would like to track internally
- For e.g which club it is for or who on the team created it
- Under 'Discount Type' select percentage, a flat fee or set pricing
- Under 'Discount Amount' add a dollar or percentage value for the discount or final price
- For 'Maximum Number of Redemptions' set limits on the number of times you would like the code to be available for use
- Under 'Time Window' define a timeframe using dates on the calendars in which codes can be used
- Under 'Subevents' decide on which subevents the discount code can be used (all or restrict to specific)
- Under 'Activation' you have the option to make the code available for use or disable it
- Under 'New Promo Code' leave the auto-generated code or create a code of your own
- Hit 'Save & Exit' to get back to your promo code dashboard and you are ready to share the promo codes with your sponsors or in marketing materials
- Participants will be prompted to 'Enter Promo Code' at the bottom of the registration form
- Return to 'Promo Codes' any time you want to review active or inactive codes and monitor how many have been used.
